A foreigner help to control traffic in Beijing

I saw this post here. These photos was taken by a fellow named Laoan. I try to explain if you don’t understand what is said in that post.

The lady, as a foreigner, help controll traffic voluntarily at an intersection from East Bridge of Chaoyang to Blue Island Mansion to get these cars drived on sidewalk back to roadway. This happened about 8:50am, 10/20/2006.

First she blocked a silver gray hyundai car and persuaded the driver not to driving on sidewalk, but failed. The man did not take notice of that and censured she should not put her finger in his pie. The driver was angry after a few minutes they twisted and got out of his car, pick the lady’s bicycle to throwed down. Even though, the lady still insisted he should drive his car on roadway instead of the sidewalk.

In the end, the car run on roadway.

After a while, the lady intercept another white SANTANA car, did not take a lot of talking or explaining, the car go to the roadway obediently.

As a chinese, I couldn’t say more. Just feel shame for someone.
