Some good stuff on Rails

Today I found some very useful Rails stuff.

  • InVisible Ruby On Rails Reference 1.1.2 or you can download the PDF version. For me, It’s a big help to be quick familiar with Rails framework.
  • http://rails2u.com You can find the latest offline Rails API doc in CHM format to download there. I really hope Rails official site could offer these offline domuments as Java do. I know there is ‘gem_server’, but I don’t know why there is no local documents, only WWW’s. Other interesting goods will catch your eyes as you hanging about this Japanese site.
  • DevBoi 0.5.1 I can’t recall how I found this firefox extention. It outlines currently HTML 4.01/XHTML 1.0, CSS 2.1, DOM 2, JavaScript 1.3, and Ruby on Rails 1.1.2, PHP, XUL if you install Reference Addon Packs. It gives you outlines, not details. But it really takes you to details on respective official sites when you double click each item.
